Isaiah 32:15 until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is thought to be a forest. 32:16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the service of righteousness shall be quietness and hope forever. 32:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable home, and in secure dwellings and quiet resting places. MKJV Or, from the Good News Bible: Isaiah 32:15 But once more God will send us his spirit. The wasteland will become fertile, and fields will produce rich crops. 32:16 Everywhere in the land righteousness and justice will be done. 32:17 Because everyone will do what is right, there will be peace and security forever. 32:18 God's people will be free from worries, and their homes peaceful and safe. Lord please send your Spirit. I ask Him, Your Holy Spirit, into my life. Please turn this wasteland of my life into fertileness and let me produce works for Your Kingdom again. Help me to understand, to truly know that if I act righteously and with justice I will live in peace and security. At least within the realms of my life. I know for us all to live in complete peace and security we would all have to live righteously and with justice, and that isn't happening now. Not everyone lives that way. But Lord please help me to. I want to live with peace and security in my life so help me to be righteous and just. Help me Lord to focus on my own desire to be righteous and just, not on others. Help me to live out your Words, Your commands and Your directions on how to live. Help me to not judge others, help me to remember that I am a new creation, therefore all my old ways of doing things will not work anymore. My old ways of coping with life will ruin this new life, my old ways of coping with life are ruining this new life, and those old ways also don't work anymore. Please help me Lord to embrace this new life You have given me. I want to live free from worries, I want to live in peacefulness and safety. I can only do this through following You Lord. Please help me to remember Your ways, give me the strength to live in righteousness and integrity. Help me to not take the easy way out by compromising what is right for what is quicker, easier or less painful. Help me to live justly. Help me to deal with everyone honestly and fairly. Help me to live my life with love. Please let love be my first reaction, my first response, Please let love be my goal and my method. Lord we all want peace. We seek it in many ways, some of those ways are harmful to others or self-destructive. We have spent much time and effort trying to get peace in unhealty, unproductive and sinful ways. I am asking You now to help me live according to Your Word, to help me live the right way, in decency, honorably, in fairness and virtue. Help me live in reverence to You, honestly and with integrity. Help me to have peace. Isaiah 32:15 But once more God will send us his spirit.
