Schloss Heroldeck is a small chateau style castle built around 1912. Originally intended as a holiday home on the beautiful Millstattersee, in recent years it has become a retreat centre for Christian groups from across Europe.
Simply equipped, it enjoys a fantastic location on a southfacing forested hillside with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. For the visitor or guest it offers a place of refuge from the pace of life, and an excellent opportunity to seek the Lord.
The interior has been adapted for use as a small conference center and includes both dormroom accommodation and a separate guest house for couples or families. The almost idyllic setting of Alpine lakes and mountains makes a great venue for spiritual retreat or study.
